Tormund Giantsbane is a prominent character in the HBO television series Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin's *A Song of Ice and Fire* book series. He first appears in season , episode of the TV show.
Played by actor Kristofer Hivju, Tormund is a charismatic and formidable wildling warrior and a leader among the Free Folk beyond the Wall.
